When Ops Core released their FAST Bump helmets, you knew it was a matter of time before someone released a helmet cover.  FirstSpear released their helmet cover in early 2012 and it is designed for the Ops Core FAST Ballistic Helmet or the Ops Core FAST Maritime Helmet.

When you receive your helmet cover from FirstSpear, you will notice that it comes in a stuff sack that looks like a large sun glass case.  You will also receive 3 Velcro disks that you will place on the inside of your helmet to attach the Velcro tabs to.

The cover that FirstSpear sent TGL to review is their Hybrid model. It is a combination of mesh and a 4-way stretch fabric in  Crye Mulitcam.    It is very easy to mount to your helmet, and will still give you access to your ARC Rails, and NVG Mount. Those are not covered by this cover.

When looking to purchase the right cover for your Ops Core, you will need to select your desired color (Black,  Ranger Green, Coyote, White, or Multicam), the size (S/M, M/L, or L/XL) and the type of helmet (FAST Ballistic, Maritime, Carbon, or Bump).

So, if you want to change the color of your helmet without breaking out a can of Krylon, take a look at this cover.

If you do not like the mesh, this one does not have it and just uses the 4-way stretch material.
